MUTANT ZOMBIE YOLK

ok, i know what you're thinking: what is it with bizarro and eggs? but this is seriously freaky! yesterday i was making an omelet, and out of one of the eggs comes this--what the friggin' hell is it? the yolk and the mutant zombie yolk both came out of the same egg. the lower pictures is what it looked like after i drained out the egg white and normal yolk.

for a while i wondered if it were a chicken embryo, but after looking up pictures of those on the internet, i'm thinking it isn't, because it doesn't bear much resemblance. i poked it with a stick and found it was less fragile than a regular yolk, which would burst with similar handling. so have any of you guys seen anything like this before? any theories? because mutant zombie yolk is the best i've got right now!

it's an egg inside an egg....

it's the soft casing an egg has under it's shell that got stuck in the poor chicken and then encased in a nother egg to get it out.

(you can see the casing if you boil an egg and peall off the shell.)

hm, you think so? because it was actually kind of hard when i poked it with a stick, almost like a hard boiled egg. would the casing be that sturdy? thanks for the theory, i'll look into that!

well it probably was stuck in the chicken a long time... it could either be hard or soft depending on what the heck was happening internally.

see normally what happens is a chicken has a yolk which goes down and gets covered in the white and then a soft casing... then the egg is covered in hard egg shell. but sometimes the egg can get constipated causing problems like two yolk eggs, no yolk eggs or egg inside an egg.

(poor chicken)

well i dont realy think its gross cUZZ i have seen yuckier stuff. those are eggs right? but that white thing looks like mozarella cheese

huh, wow, really? and did two yolks come out of the same egg for him, too? and how dark a blue? i really want to know what this thing is, it's driving me crazy! =P
